We are building a village agri-tech and rural enterprise platform that empowers youth, women, and small & medium farmers to become self-reliant.

Mission
With support from local FPOs, NGOs, government institutes, and farmers’ cooperatives, we aim to deliver a climate-positive, low-capex, scalable model that increases yields, regenerates soil, raises farmer incomes, and creates
rural jobs.
Grains Research operates at the intersection of soil science, renewable bio-energy, precision agriculture, and farmer-led innovation. We are engaged in an international collaboration with South Korea, an eco-leading advanced agri deep-tech company, to co-develop sustainable agricultural technologies and expand global innovation pathways in India. Our research portfolio includes a patent application on sustainable hydrogen generation for bio grid-free energy systems for farmers and peer-reviewed publications in renewable biomass energy. We actively engage with leading institutions including ICAR research centres, IISc, NCBS, JNCSAR, UAS (GKVK & Dharwad), JIS University, GITAM University, and grassroots organizations such as Green Foundation Manipur and regional KVK networks. With a growing network of 1000+ farmers and multi-sector technology integration partners, we focus on scalable, science-backed agricultural systems that strengthen soil health, productivity, and climate resilience.
Preeti S. G – CEO & FOUNDER
Preeti S. G is the CEO & FOUNDER of Grains Research for Agri Innovation and Nutritional Science, an initiative established in rural Karnataka to advance science-driven agriculture and renewable bio-energy solutions for farmers. Selected as an RGEP Innovator (Govt. of Karnataka) and incubated at Bangalore Bio innovation Centre, her company has research publications, a patent application, and active involvement in research projects, with international collaboration (South Korea) and national partnerships with research institutions and farmer networks. The startup is currently piloting village-level innovations and seeking larger R&D support and strategic partnerships to scale sustainable agricultural and energy solutions.
